3. We Do Not Sell Personal Information

The Oklahoma Conservative Coalition does not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information or user data to third parties.

We also do not disclose personal information to third parties in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.

4. Mobile Messaging and Opt-In Data

If you sign up to receive text messages from the Oklahoma Conservative Coalition, we will use your mobile phone number to send Coalition updates, advocacy alerts, event information, fundraising communications, and other messages from the Coalition. We may collect and retain your mobile phone number, opt-in and consent records, message history, opt-out requests, and other information you provide.

Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own purposes. No mobile information, text-messaging originator opt-in data, or consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose mobile opt-in information only to vendors, consultants, telecommunications providers, messaging platforms, and other service providers that need the information to perform text-messaging or related services on our behalf. Such providers may use the information only to provide services to the Coalition and not for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data will also not be transferred to unrelated organizations for their independent use.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of making a contribution, purchasing anything, or receiving services. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message. You may reply HELP for assistance or contact us using the information below.

After an opt-out request, we may send a one-time confirmation message and retain information necessary to document and honor your request. Opting out of text messages does not automatically unsubscribe you from email or other communications.

5. When We May Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: To vendors and contractors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, text-message delivery, payment processing, event administration, analytics, data security, and database management. These providers are permitted to use information only as necessary to provide contracted services.

  • Legal and regulatory obligations: When disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, campaign-finance rule, tax requirement, or other legal process.

  • Protection of rights and safety: When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of the Coalition, our supporters, website users, or others; investigate suspected fraud or unlawful conduct; or enforce our agreements and policies.

  • Organizational transactions: In connection with a merger, reorganization, transfer of operations, or similar organizational transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

  • At your direction: When you request or consent to the disclosure.

These provisions do not permit mobile opt-in data or consent to be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Contributions and Payment Processing

When you make a contribution or other payment, a third-party payment processor may collect payment-card or bank-account information directly from you. We may receive limited transaction information, such as your name, contact information, contribution amount, transaction date, and payment status.

Contribution records may be subject to public disclosure or governmental reporting requirements under applicable law. Information legally required to be reported is not governed by a request to delete or restrict information where retention or disclosure remains legally required.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, maintain operational and consent records, honor opt-out requests, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory requirements.

Retention periods may vary according to the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
